    When mine arrived it had a crack in the plastic body. I decided that it wasn't a big deal so I would just use it anyways. After putting the whole thing together, it turned out I had a defective tensioner, it was hardly a workout even at full intensity.

    So I returned it to amazon and got another one. Guess what? Exact same problems. Body was broken again, damaged during shipping along with one of the wheels was also broken in shipping ; and the tensioner was no good.

    Do yourself a favor and just buy a nicer bike that works. Low price Marcy Upright Cycle for sale.

    I got this for my mom when she will come here to visit me. I'm using it sometimes, not bad at all.
    Someone said the seat is unconfortable. I don't agree. For the price is a nice cycle but I want to see when

    First off.. I literally just got this bike.. so i can't really comment on how it works.. but I can say it took me about 2 hours to put together by myself.. It really wasn't bad at all. It's perfect for the shorter population.. I'm 5'3 and I'm not even on the lowest peg.  Best price  Marcy Upright Cycle for sale.

  4. Makes "clunking" noise after 1 month's use

    I bought this to try an exercise bike, and guess I got a $100 exercise bike. After 1 month's use it makes a 'clunking' noise upon pedaling. At this time it's intermittent, but I anticipate it progressing until the pedal mechanism seizes up. As noted in other reviews, it doesn't have much variation in the resistance settings, and for those of us who are vertically challenged (I'm 5'4"), the seat is a little high and the handlebars a little too far out of reach.

    Shipping was much quicker than estimated. The whole thing came in a small box and required two people to assemble.

    This machine is well worth the money, I would have given it 5 stars if the computer worked, it dosen't. Use a stopwatch that what I did. It's very sturdy and easy to assemble (tools included)
